If football holds the top spot for stadium crowds, badminton is the sport closest to the Malaysian heart when it comes to national pride. From the era of the Sidek brothers to Lee Chong Wei's decade-long reign on the world stage, badminton has always been more than just a sport – it is part of who we are as Malaysians.
Today, a new generation of players — Lee Zii Jia, Aaron Chia, Soh Wooi Yik, Pearly Tan, and Thinaah Muralitharan — carry that legacy forward with passion and pride. And when Malaysia steps onto the BWF World Tour or Thomas Cup stage, the whole nation rallies behind them. At rappi888, we understand that passion — and we give you the best way to be part of the action with badminton betting that's simple, secure, and exciting.
rappi888 offers exceptionally comprehensive betting coverage across the world of badminton. This goes well beyond just one or two major tournaments — we cover virtually every level of competition on the BWF (Badminton World Federation) calendar throughout the year.
For Super 1000 tournaments, you can bet on the Malaysia Open held at Axiata Arena Kuala Lumpur, Indonesia Open, All England, China Open, Japan Open, and more. These are the most prestigious events on the calendar and typically bring together the world's best players, including the Malaysian representatives we all cheer for.
For team competitions, rappi888 offers full markets for the Thomas Cup (men's), Uber Cup (women's), and Sudirman Cup (mixed). These are among the most anticipated events for Malaysian badminton fans, as they carry a sense of patriotism that goes beyond the individual — it's about nation versus nation.
Olympic coverage is included as well rappi888. For every Olympic cycle, we offer betting markets across all badminton categories — men's singles, women's singles, men's doubles, women's doubles, and mixed doubles. A medal is the ultimate prize for our players, and for fans following along at rappi888, the excitement is doubled with some compelling betting action.
Badminton is an incredibly dynamic sport — momentum can swing and leads can evaporate in just a few strokes. That's exactly what makes in-play betting on badminton at rappi888 is far more exciting than standard pre-match betting.
Imagine Lee Zii Jia going up against a higher-ranked Chinese opponent. Before the match, the odds for LZJ might be 3.00 or more. But as the first set gets underway and LZJ starts showing his best game – consistent smashes, near-flawless net play – those odds will shift in real time at rappi888. If you back LZJ and place an in-play bet in the early minutes while the odds are still favourable, your potential returns can be significantly higher than betting before the match starts.
The in-play feature at rappi888 also displays real-time statistics such as rally shot counts, first-serve percentage, and the latest head-to-head record between both players. This information lets you make more data-driven betting decisions rather than relying purely on instinct.
All your personal information and financial transactions at rappi888 is protected with 256-bit SSL encryption. Your data is never shared with any third party without your consent. All badminton betting activity is regularly audited to ensure full fairness and transparency for every user.

Not many online betting platforms truly understand how deeply Malaysians follow badminton. For most international platforms, it is just one of dozens of sports on their list – minimal coverage, uncompetitive odds, and very limited markets. At rappi888, we see badminton differently — because we know what it means to our Malaysian users.
We invest in sourcing deeper data on Malaysian badminton players – per-tournament performance records, detailed on-court statistics, and consistent playing patterns tracked across seasons. We use this information not only to set more accurate odds, but also make it available to users of rappi888 as an aid in making more informed betting decisions.
When it comes to deposit and withdrawal convenience, rappi888 fully understands the needs of Malaysian users. Minimum deposit is just RM20 via Touch 'n Go eWallet, GrabPay, Boost, ShopeePay, DuitNow or FPX online banking such as Maybank2u and CIMB Clicks. Funds are typically credited within 1 to 3 minutes. Winnings withdrawals are processed quickly as well — usually within 5 to 15 minutes for amounts below RM5,000.
Another unique advantage of rappi888 is the match notification feature. You can set alerts for specific matches you're interested in — for example, when Lee Zii Jia is next playing, or when the Malaysia Open is about to start. Our system will send you a notification so you never miss an important match to watch or bet on.
For players who prefer a more strategic approach to betting, the VIP programme at rappi888 also offers perks such as better odds on selected badminton matches, higher betting limits for VIP members, and early access to markets that open before the general public. This gives you a valuable time advantage, especially for matches where odds move quickly.
Decide how much you are comfortable betting each week and stick to that limit even when you are on a winning run.
Supporting Lee Zii Jia or Aaron Chia is entirely your call, but your betting decisions should be grounded in data and analysis — not just your gut feeling.
Increasing your stakes to "break even" after a loss rarely works and often leads to even bigger losses.
